Welcome to Mr. Lee Teaches (the “Site”). By accessing or using our website, located at mrleeteaches.com, or by engaging in coaching services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you and Mr. Lee Teaches. We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Intellectual Property

3. Coaching Services, Payments, and Cancellations

By booking a coaching session or purchasing a coaching package, you agree to the following financial and scheduling policies:

  • 3.1 Cancellation & Rescheduling: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of any appointment. If you cancel or request a reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you fail to attend a scheduled session, you will be charged the full fee for that session.
  • 3.2 Extenuating Circumstances: We understand that emergencies happen. Mr. Lee Teaches reserves the sole discretion to waive the 24-hour notice penalty in the event of documented extenuating circumstances.
  • 3.3 No Refunds: All sales for coaching sessions, prepaid packages, and digital resources are final. No refunds will be issued for unused sessions or for sessions already completed.

4. Confidentiality & Mandated Reporting

Mr. Lee Teaches maintains a high standard of client privacy. However, please be aware of the following legal and professional limits to confidentiality:

  • 4.1 Mandated Reporting: Under South Carolina law, as a certified educator, I am an obligatory (mandated) reporter. This means I am legally required to report to the appropriate authorities if I have reason to believe that a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult is being abused or neglected.
  • 4.2 Safety and Legal Duty: Confidentiality may also be breached if there is an imminent threat of harm to yourself or others, or if disclosure is required by a valid legal subpoena or court order.
  • 4.3 Technical Risk: Communications over the internet (email, video calls) are never 100% secure. By using these services, you acknowledge and accept these inherent security risks.

Mr. Lee Teaches reserves the right to terminate the coaching relationship at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, a breach of these Terms or a determination that the coaching relationship is no longer a productive fit. In the event of termination by Mr. Lee Teaches, you will be refunded a pro-rata share of any prepaid, unused sessions.
